Use MCP to edit and verify precisely

Goal: ask an external assistant to update the budget without inventing tools, identifiers or data. Requirements: a tested MCP connection and the budget from Create and verify a linked budget in its initial state: Food price 18, total 1,150 and available 50. Restore the named version first if needed.

Use the authorized VectorBoard connection. Find Budget and Summary in Community workshop. First read the headers, the Food row and the dependent totals. If they do not match the initial state from Create and verify a linked budget, stop and report. Change only the Food unit price from 18 to 20. Do not create replacement tables or publish the board. Read again and report the modified identifiers. Result: Food 400; Total 1190; Available 10.

1. The assistant discovers real tools and schemas. It resolves board, page, table and cell from current data.

2. It reads the initial state and checks headers; it does not assume that row 4 is always the same item.
3. It confirms the authorized change to a single cell and follows the required approval.
4. It writes through the available schema and the returned identifiers. It does not substitute another tool or create a new table.
5. It reads the cell, row total, grand total and Summary again. You check the chart in the application.
6. Its final report includes only verified results, identifiers and any error or difference.
7. To practice, undo and check the initial totals. If a write times out, check the values before you retry it.
